Arc Studio was founded in 1999 by husband-and-wife team, Khoo Peng Beng and Belinda Huang. The studio evolved from a two-person team to a collective twenty professionals in six years.

Arc Studio's process-driven philosophy consciously avoids excesses and any stylistic reference, preferring instead to focus strongly on the design process to produce projects which are both pragmatic and aesthetically pleasing.

The studio has earned itself a reputation for its dynamic and innovative contributions to the architectural community by testing the boundaries of architectural design in a series of research-based competitions.
