Lerch Bates is an international consulting services firm with 37 offices throughout North America, South America, the Middle East, Asia and India. Since their founding in 1947 as the first independent elevator consulting firm in the US, they have added offices and capabilities around the world, bringing industry leading expertise and technology to their work with clients on diverse and challenging projects.
Their influence as innovators of design concepts is seen, as many of their “firsts” have become industry standards that can be recognized in many of the world’s tallest buildings.
In 1986 Lerch Bates became an employee owned consulting firm. Much like the early days, each employee/owner takes an entrepreneur's interest in providing the service, quality and ingenuity that clients expect and deserve.

Please note that all heights shown in italics/red are estimated heights. These have been calculated based on known floor counts for the building, then extrapolated through analyzing typically hundreds of buildings of the same function on this database that do have confirmed heights. The user should be aware that non-standard building features, such as significant spires or raised entrances / podiums, may affect the accuracy of these estimations.
