Founded in 2006 by french architects Mathurin Hardel and Cyrille Le Bihan, the practice works on projects of all types and scales within the urban fabric, in France and Africa: mixed and high rise buildiings, new and renovated, office, cultural and university buildings, housing and hotels.
In 2019, together with arch. YTAA, the studio won the international competition for the new urban area BRUNESEAU, including a mixed tower (housing + office/ timber+concrete), iconic of Paris' ring road's mutation.
In 2017, as part of Nouvelle AOM (Franklin Azzi Architecture, ChartierDalix Architectes, Hardel Le Bihan Architectes), the practice won the competition for the new Montparnasse Tower in Paris.
HARDEL LE BIHAN ARCHITECTES is radical in its desire to create buildings that are timeless, giving as much importance to the immediate appropriation of a site as to its evolution over time.
