The Philadelphia Chapter of the Council for Tall Buildings (CTBUH) is pleased to present a lecture by Charles Berman, Associate Principal of Diller Scofidio + Renfro. He will discuss the aesthetic, cultural, and technical aspects of The Shed, an urban cultural and event space that fronts the High Line and Hudson Yards, in New York.

The CTBUH Philadelphia Chapter is thrilled to offer a presentation and tour of one of the city's most illustrious new mixed-use developments set in Philadelphia's cultural district along Avenue of the Arts. Join us as the architect, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, PC, and structural engineer, The Harman Group, now IMEG Corp., provide insights into the design, and the Dranoff Properties team lead a tour of the building.

The Philadelphia Chapter of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) together with the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania has assembled a panel of thought leaders for a symposium to address food security, public common space, and how architecture can provide a self sustaining physical, cultural, and economic model for cities.
