The CTBUH lists a project manager when a specific firm has been commissioned to oversee this aspect of a tall building’s design/construction. When the project management efforts are handled by the developer, main contract, or architect, this field will be omitted.
The main contractor is the supervisory contractor of all construction work on a project, management of sub-contractors and vendors, etc. May be referred to as "Construction Manager," however, for consistency CTBUH uses the term "Main Contractor" exclusively.
Other Consultant refers to other organizations which provided significant consultation services for a building project (e.g. wind consultants, environmental consultants, fire and life safety consultants, etc).
Material Supplier refers to organizations which supplied significant systems/materials for a building project (e.g. elevator suppliers, facade suppliers, etc).

Though construction for the Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences complex began during the recent economic downturn, provisions were made to complete the building on time and budget while maintaining the level of quality in both the hotel and residences. The curvilinear forms of the towers reciprocate the nearby ocean, but were designed to be built as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible, relying on factory-made elements. The construction of the towers was planned to minimize the time needed by utilizing a “top-down” methodology, starting both the foundations and the superstructure at the ground level at the same time. This process allowed completion nearly seven months earlier than with conventional techniques.
The towers also contribute many resource-saving features, including: rainwater harvesting, use of recycled steel and plastics, natural ventilation, and abundance of natural light. The planning of the site connects the towers to the existing urban fabric, reinforcing connections with several main avenues while creating new public spaces.
