ODA-Architecture out of New York City has been hired as design architect for the Book Tower and Book Building redevelopment on Washington Boulevard in downtown...
After sitting vacant for many years, this century-old office building has been transformed into a mixed-use destination with a blend of hospitality, residential living, event, and dining experiences under one roof. The interior restoration aimed to revive the significance and aesthetic appeal of the historic Italian Renaissance structure, including energy-efficient window replicas, hand-painted ceiling tiles, marble reinstatements, and restoring the three-story atrium all while restoring the building's original features like travertine floors and limestone façade.
